Syed has been conferred with the National Honour ‘BEM’ in the Queen’s New Year Honour list 2021 for his many year’s of charity work. He receives the honorary medal from Her Majesty’s representative, Lord Lieutenant of Leicestershire, Mr Mike Kapur OBE.
